With coming up to a quarter of a million views when we last looked at it, nothing demonstrates better than this short video how you can get great exposure by cutting the sales patter and telling it like it is.
Once your grin fades away, however, it's worth thinking about whether your business marketing is giving the customer the information that they are looking for and recognising the type of person that they are. This kind of advert makes it clear that if I asked the owner a question I'm sure going to get a straight answer, whether I like it or not! That immediately makes me feel secure in my purchasing, useful when parting with quite a bit of money.
Some of the most successful sales (and best client relationships) that EI can boast come from telling it like it is at the outset; this might been telling the CEO that the website he loves isn't serving his customers needs or a department manager that their stock control system isn't fit for purpose.
Like our friend in the video, telling it like it easy can really pay dividends.
